PLETTENBERG BAY NEWS - Traffic on the N2 near the Sasol garage at Harkerville was disrupted yesterday morning 7 June following an accident involving a camper van.
The vehicle reportedly lost control and rolled off the highway, prompting authorities to implement a stop-go traffic system to manage congestion.
Southern Cape police spokesperson Chris Spies confirmed that a case of reckless and negligent driving has been opened.
"The incident occurred around 08:30, when police were dispatched to the scene.
Upon arrival, officers found the camper van had veered off the road. Both occupants sustained injuries and were transported to a hospital in Knysna for treatment.
Kwanokuthula detectives have launched an investigation into the circumstances surrounding the crash."
