PLETTENBERG BAY NEWS - Police in Plettenberg Bay have called on the public for assistance with tracking down a suspect in a robbery in the industrial area of the coastal holiday town about eight years ago.
Local police spokesman Captain Marlene Pieterse said police were seeking assistance in locating 34-year-old Xolisa Lucas Luthi.
"He is suspected of being involved in a robbery at Morning Star Panel Beaters in the industrial area on 24 November 2011, Pieterse said.
He allegedly threatened the complainant with a knife before fleeing the scene with a computer box, a wallet and some cash.
A warrant for his arrest has since been issued.
Pieterse urged anyone with information about the suspect's whereabouts to contact the investigating officer in the matter, Sergeant Nosiviwe Kovu on 044-501-1937 or 044-501-1941.
