SEDGEFIELD NEWS - Sedgefield Primary will soon have an amazing new look to brighten up both teachers' and learners' days when a group of good-hearted residents host a "paint-a-thon" in aid of the school.
Organiser Devon Basson of Big Wolf Construction says the idea came to him when he repainted his wife Ashley's classroom recently, and it was decided that the entire school needed the same.
So far, says Basson, a few businesses in the little slow town have come together to make the project a reality, and are aiming to repaint all of the classrooms in the school on Saturday 21 July.
"All of the funds, services and materials have been donated by local businesses and individuals, but there is always space for more hands," he says.

According to Basson, Sedgefield businesses currently involved with the project are the Lions Club, Pick n Pay, Build It, Shell, Ian Perryman of Pelican Lodge, as well as a few other crucial role players, he says.
A fresh and clean classroom.
