PLETTENBERG BAY NEWS - Greenwood Bay College would like to congratulate all award winners in the high school.

We also eagerly await our results in the new year, to see how our students fared in their external exams.

Grade 8 academic awards winners were Brynlee Langdown, Paul Kellerman, Simba Gandane, Aligi Boni, Michelle van Heerden, Brandyn Spurrier, Arianne Bauer, Adam Barnard and Mia Roberts.

In Grade 9, the academic winners were Megan van Zyl, Benjamin Brink, Sinethemba Mthimkulu, Kate Selfe, Leo Brown, Shona Gordon, Vimbai Murape, Logan Jooste, Lisalethu Ndinisa, Willow Mullins and Pheonix Lurie.

For Grade 11, they were Gemma Damp, Jessica Cockcroft, Isabelle Brohm, Crystal Hart, Lila Murzl and Justin van Jaarsveld.

Then there were also choir and music awards, that went to Shardonne Vermaak, Chenoa Gips, James Taylor, Megan van Zyl, Jenna van Zyl, Willow Mullins, Taylor Franken, and Annabelle Aitken.

Lastly, sports awards were given as follows: the sportsmanship awards went to Merrick van der Gaast and Cullen MacMillan, while Chenoa Gips was named sportswoman of the year, and Simba Gandane her male counterpart.
