KNYSNA NEWS - A tragic accident claimed the life of a 22-year-old man on Sunday evening, 18 May, when his vehicle veered off the N2 near Brackenhill, just outside of Knysna.
According to Sergeant Chris Spies, Southern Cape police spokesperson, authorities are currently investigating the circumstances surrounding the crash.
"Reports available indicate that police were summoned to the scene at about 18:15. On arrival, the members found a Nissan NP300 bakkie which had left the road.
"The driver of the vehicle, a 22-year-old man, was found with multiple injuries. He was declared dead by paramedics on the scene. It is believed that the vehicle was en route from Harkerville to Knysna at the time of the accident," Spies said.
