KNYSNA NEWS - Teachers of Chris Nissen Primary School in White Location resorted to protest this morning during break-time as they feel unsafe in their work environment due to two positive cases of Covid-19 at the school.
According to a teacher who wishes to remain anonymous, the two positive cases are a member of the school's cleaning staff a teacher.
The school underwent a deep clean on Monday 29 June after they learnt of the positive cases, but the teachers still feel unsafe.
"We picketed during break as it was the only time we had, but we do not want to put our health at risk with two positive cases at the school," the teacher said.
They further expressed that the teachers do not want other grades to be phased in at the school either.
