KNYSNA NEWS - The countdown to Knysna Provincial Hospital’s annual children’s party has begun, with just two more days to go. 

The hospital hosts the party for their long term paediatric patients.

This year they are hosting a big forest themed party on Thursday, 19 July.

The aim of the party is to give back to the community, especially the children.

The hospital’s communications official Nadia Ferreira said, “We have children that are admitted to the hospital for long periods, some up to 6 months, that miss out on fun festivities throughout the year. As this party is arranged and funded mainly by our staff, we depend on donations from the community and local businesses to succeed in our venture.”

Adding to this she said, due to so many of long term patients going away over December, they have decided to do an annual party in July.
