KNYSNA NEWS - The well-known Goldsmiths jewellery shop in Long Street, Thesen Island, Knysna, was robbed at about 15:00 today.

Armed robbers allegedly stormed into the premises and robbed the store of valuables.

At this stage it is not known what has been taken during the robbery.

Police officers are on the scene, while police are also chasing the robbers are on the N2 highway towards Plettenberg Bay.
 
The Knysna-Plett Herald was on the scene shortly after the robbery took place.
