Knysna Provincial Hospital welcomed the New Year on a joyful note with the birth of a healthy baby boy at 07:25 this morning.

KNYSNA NEWS - Knysna Provincial Hospital welcomed the New Year on a joyful note with the birth of a healthy baby boy at 07:25 this morning, marking the hospital’s first delivery of the year.

The baby’s mother, Ivy Muskanga, said her son is doing well and weighs 3,7kg. The family has not yet chosen a name, but both mother and baby are in good health.

There were no Christmas Day babies born at the hospital this year.
