KNYSNA NEWS - The annual Knysna Rotary Splash Festival takes place tomorrow on Tuesday, 30 December, offering two fun-filled events for the whole family.
New to the festival is the Flash Float, which begins at 09:00 at the Green Hole on Leisure Isle.
Anyone with an inflatable is welcome to take part. The cost is R100 per person or R300 for a family of four.
Participants will float on the incoming tide from the Green Hole to Bollard Bay. Children under 12 must wear a life jacket and be accompanied by an adult.
Entries can be purchased on Quicket by searching “Flash Float,” or on the day.
The popular duck race will take place later the same day at 14:00 at the Waterfront. Spectators can enjoy the sight of more than 1 100 yellow rubber ducks racing down the channel beneath the bridge.
