Firecrackers are dangerous to people and animals.

KNYSNA NEWS - The Knysna Municipal by-law on the Prevention of Public Nuisance strictly prohibits the discharge of fireworks, firearms, air guns or air pistols on any premises, street, or public place including beaches.


Firecrackers are dangerous to people and animals. Anyone found using or selling fireworks will be prosecuted to the full extent of the law.

Please report the setting off or sale of fireworks to Knysna Emergency Services on 044 302 8911 or 060 998 6969.
