Interpol to investigate body on SA-bound plane
INTERNATIONAL NEWS - Interpol is reportedly working with local officials in Zimbabwe to investigate the death of a man whose body was found aboard a cargo plane carrying money to South Africa.

The plane has been impounded in Harare together with its consignment while investigations are carried out.

The state-run Herald says Interpol has been roped in to establish the dead man’s identity and nationality.

A post-mortem is also underway in Harare to establish the cause of death.

The Herald says the body was in an advanced state of decomposition, and the authorities want to confirm it isn’t carrying viruses that could spread disease in the country.
