KNYSNA NEWS - Have you diarised the dates 4 and 5 November? Have you plotted your course? Set your GPS?
The Leisure Isle Festival promises a weekend of entertainment for adults and children, delicious foods and a chance to start your Christmas shopping.
A key focus of the festival is to provide the local community with an opportunity to support local charities through the purchase of locally produced arts, craft and foods.
Hospice volunteers work all year and always excel with their wonderful selection of books and delicious teas.
Keen gardeners will be delighted with over 300 expertly cultivated standard and half standard roses, many of them rare English scented roses.
John Wessels, who describes his wood-turning and pewter artwork as a "field of enchantment", will be giving a series of demonstrations, and the Knysna Schools Sports Development Trust will be attracting children to their turf, in their quest to invest in the youth of Knysna.
This year's Leisure Isle Festival promises to be as much fun as past years and also has some new surprises, which are still under wraps…
Bookings may be made on www.leisureislefestival.co.za or via hard copy.
These applications forms will be available from Sotheby’s Knysna offices in Woodmill Lane, Leisure Isle, Thesen Islands, Knysna Mall and Sedgefield offices.
