KNYSNA NEWSFLASH - The DA's Western Cape minister of economic opportunities Alan Winde was left speechless and conceded to a meeting with the Knysna Ratepayers Association (KRA) and other members of the community during a DA public meeting held at Knysna High School on Monday night for Ward 9 and 10 residents.
The minister was addressing fewer than a hundred residents who attended the public meeting to hear DA MP John Steenhuisen speak. Following Steenhuisen's speech and a short Q & A session, residents insisted that the subject of the Knysna fires be discussed before the meeting was closed.
