PLETTENBERG BAY NEWS - Plettenberg Bay residents are encouraged to join thousands of people around the world to create awareness around human trafficking.
The global initiative, Walk for Freedom, is taking place on 15 October and Plett will be one of the participating towns.
The initiative involves thousands of residents taking to the streets in hundreds of cities across the globe to walk in single file, holding posters and handing out flyers to reach their city with information about human trafficking and how to end it.
Plett's march is set to take place from 09:30 to 12:00, starting at the Dutch Reformed Church in Marine Way and going down to Main Street.
For more information, contact Tanya on 082 552 6736. Residents can register for the walk at A21.org/walk.
