PLETTENBERG BAY NEWS - The new organisation, Plettenberg Bay Tourism, elected its first executive office bearers on Monday 13 March at Die Plaas restaurant in New Horizons.
The chairperson is Paul Duverge, of Sky Villa, the deputy chair Lynne Clarke, treasurer Evan Chapman and township tourism Vuyakazi Kitsi.
They will serve as directors as listed on the CIPC.
The first decision of the board was to use its official, registered name, Plettenberg Bay Tourism. It has dropped "board" at the end of its name.
Other board members/chapter heads are Peter Reid (events), Deonette van der Westhuizen (fundraiser), Marlene Bartlett (socials and marketing), Leonie Baynes (legal), Victoria Rowe (adventure and activities), John Ruiters (restaurants), Duverge (accomodation) and Clarke (membership co-ordinator).
