PLETTENBERG BAY NEWS - Plettenberg Bay has become known for its unique markets over the years and come this weekend it will boast another. This one however is for a good cause.
Hosted by the New Horizon Development Agency, a non-profit organisation uplifting the lives of the people of New Horizons, in partnership with Ward 4 Councillor and Bitou Speaker Claude Terblanche, the market is set to include stalls for food, jewelry, clothing, traditional cuisine, and beverages.
Plett's own Radio204 will be broadcasting live alongside additional entertainment for the youngsters, a car-sound exhibition, and a variety of arts and cultural activities.
Hype Energy Drink and Octotel will be running promotions and the Hospice wellness team will be on hand to offer advice on healthy living and a variety of health checks.
The market, which is set to be the first of many to come, will be held on Saturday 7 May at the New Horizons taxi tank from 09:00 until 18:30 and will form part of a festive day with the community of New Horizons.
