KNYSNA NEWS - Hornlee residents have closed the N2 over housing issues, backyard dwellers and their dissatisfaction with water meters.
This is the third time this community has taken to the streets in a space of two weeks in hopes of getting their voices heard.
On Monday, 1 April they handed over a memorandum of their demands to the mayor Mark Willemse and MEC of housing Bonginkosi Madikizela, and gave them seven working days to reply.
One of the residents in the area says this unrest is because their grievances were not attended to.
There are unconfirmed reports that the group is looting trucks. Law enforcement officers are on the scene.
