PLETTENBERG BAY NEWS - The Minister of Cultural Affairs and Sport, Anroux Marais, paid visit to Bitou's libraries last week as part of an oversight effort.
The libraries visited included Kwano-kuthula, New Horizons, and the town libraries.
She was warmly welcomed and hosted by libraries and information services manager Thandi Twani.
Marais was very pleased with the professional manner in which the libraries are managed. She commented on the cleanliness and activities that are taking place in these facilities. She was also very impressed by the staff and overall customer relations.
Twani presented the strategic plan for the Bitou libraries which includes a plan to build a library for Harkerville.
