PLETTENBERG BAY NEWS - Plettenberg Bay volunteers rescued a hiker from the Robberg Nature Reserve hiking trail after he suffered exhaustion.
The town's National Sea Rescue Institute (NSRI) station commander Marc Rodgers said they received a call for assistance from a family from Humansdorp just before 18:00 on Sunday 9 June.
They reported that the father in the group had suffered exhaustion while hiking with his family.
“Our sea rescue craft Leonard Smith and Ray Farnham were launched while CapeNature rangers and NSRI shore crew members responded to the car park to hike to the location,” Rodgers said.
