PLETTENBERG BAY NEWS - Bitou beach authorities have warned residents and visitors to be Covid-19 compliant when visiting the Poortjies lagoon area after scores of people headed to the area on Saturday.
Following negotiations between the Bitou Municipality and various roleplayers, access to the area was granted earlier this week.
However on Saturday the area was packed with people wanting to take advantage of the summer weather and beach authorities therefore made the decision to only allow 100 people access at a time.
Should the situation change, this might be relooked.
