KNYSNA NEWS - The Knysna municipality has announced that the Old Place garden waste site is open.
The operating hours are as follows:
Monday to Friday 08:00 – 16:00; Saturdays and public holidays from 8:00 to 13:00
The municipality has asked those dumping to adhere to the instructions of the municipal officials working at the site as to where to dispose and what type of material is allowed on the site.
The municipality has also warned that should any emergency maintenance be required the site will need to close. They have, however undertaken to advise residents and waste contractors should closure be required.
It is envisaged the re-opening of the dump will afford some relief to beleaguered residents.
