KNYSNA NEWS - DA ward councillor and deputy mayor Peter Myers has been voted out of his position as deputy mayor in a motion of no confidence.
This resolution was taken within the first hour of the council meeting being held this morning.
Myers will remain ward 10 councillor.
What will happen to the mayor Eleanore Bouw-Spies and speaker Georlene Wolmarans, both DA councillors, is not yet known.
A motion to have them removed has been brought by the ANC.
