KNYSNA NEWS - Knysna CDC was closed for four hours for decontamination on Wednesday morning (Today).
The department of health West Coast District and Paarl Hospital spokesperson Leensie (Streicher) Lötter said the clinic was closed for few hours and reopened at 11:00.
“The clinic has already reopened at 11:00 this morning for limited services,” she said.
Lötter said warned the residents of Knysna about the increasing infection rate in the area.
“Knysna sub-district’s infection rate is still increasing at this point. Currently (as on 28 July) there are 921 confirmed cases in the Knysna Sub-district of which 352 are active and 549 are recovered patients,” she said.
She said the Knysna sub-district has recorded 20 Covid-19 related deaths in total by 28 July 2020.
