Heavy rain leads to road closure in Plett

PLETTENBERG BAY NEWS - The gravel road between Kwanokuthula and Wittedrift in Plettenberg Bay has been closed after damage caused by heavy rain this morning, Monday 22 November.

The Bitou Municipality announced that the road was closed with immediate effect.  

“The road is in a bad condition due to the heavy rains that we are experiencing since the early hours of this morning,” the municipality’s communication team said in a statement.

For any emergency and flooding residents are urged to call Bitou Public Safety on  044 533 5000 / 044 5013 230.
