KNYSNA NEWS – The rentals team at a local property agency recently held a collection drive for Mother's Day to donate natural soaps to mothers at two old age homes in Knysna.
The initiative was driven by Estelle Potgieter, who is a member of the rentals team at the Pam Golding Knysna office.
The initiative gave the team the opportunity to do their part in thanking mothers for all the effort they put in to raise and make a difference in their children's lives. The drive drew donations from all over the community.
The team reached out to Pauline van der Velde, who runs the local business Nourish Natural Soaps, to purchase soaps for women at Loeriehof and Vermont Old Age Homes.
Although Potgieter could not make the handover herself, her partner in the rentals team, Leanne Gammon, visited the two old age homes on Friday 7 May to hand over the soaps. The staff at both old age homes expressed sincere gratitude for the donations.
In addition to the soaps that were gifted, Leanne Goman also stopped by on Mother's Day to drop off some flowers at Loeriehof and a cake at Vermont for their Mother's Day tea.
