KNYSNA NEWS - PROPERTY-RELATED INCIDENTS:
TOWN AREA
THEFT FROM M.V. - MAIN RD (Thurs 5 October @ 06h59) - Client reported that their hubcaps were stolen from off their vehicle. Time of incident unknown.
SHOPLIFTING - MAIN STR (Fri 6 October @ 16h32) - Allsound guard reported that a juvenile was caught shoplifting. Juvenile paid for the items and no charged were pursued.
BURGLARY - WATERFRONT DR (Sat 7 October @ 09h17) - Client phoned in to report a break-in at the premises. Glass was removed from front door and 2 chainsaws were reported missing. SAPS were on site to open a case.
BURGLARY - NEW STR (Sun 8 October @ 22h35) - Officer responded to alarm signal and found broken window. Two known suspects were apprehended nearby but officers were unable to link them to the break-in. Keyholder confirmed nothing visibly missing from premises.
THEFT - LONG STR (Mon 9 October @ 02h38) - Allsound Officer noticed a boat with cover pulled back and items lying next to the boat. Owner was notified and reported only small miscellaneous items were missing. No case opened. Boat was moved to more secure location.
ATTEMPTED BURGLARY - HILL STR (Tues 10 October @ 02h31) - Resident reported a noise on property. Officers responded and found window was forced open but burglar bars still in tact. No access was gained.
THEFT - NELSON STR (Tues 10 October @ 07h12) - Allsound guards reported that a wall clock was stolen from the premises. CCTV footage identified the suspect who was apprehended and clock recovered. A case of theft was opened and suspect was handed over to SAPS.

THEFT OUT M.V. - RIO STR (Sat 7 October @ 07h41) - Client telephoned to report that vehicle was broken into during the night. Uniform clothing and keys were stolen. SAPS were informed.
INDUSTRIAL AREA / HORNLEE / NEKKIES
BURGLARY - VIGILANCE DR (Fri 6 October @ 05h48) - Officer responded to alarm and confirmed positive break-in. Owner was notified and it was reported that some electronics were missing. SAPS were informed for a case to be opened.
THEFT - MEEU STR (Fri 6 October @ 09h19) - Officer responded to a panic alarm. Tenant reported that a man had been begging at the property. He ran off with her cellphone. Description was provided and area searched, suspect not found. SAPS were notified.

BURGLARY - LINDSAY STR (Wed 11 October @ 11h50) - Client reported that his garage was broken into during the night. A Grinder and Jigsaw were reported missing. No case was opened.
RHEENENDAL / PHANTOM RIVER
BURGLARY - PHANTOM RIVER RD (Sat 7 October @ 20h55) - Officer responded to alarm signal and found window forced open. Owner confirmed that an Iphone was missing. SAPS were notified to open a case.
