KNYSNA NEWS - PROPERTY-RELATED INCIDENTS:TOWN AREA
COMMON ROBBERY - OFF WATERFRONT DR (Thurs 26 April @ 07h22) – Client reported that one of their guests was robbed while out jogging on the Links Footpath by 3 unknown assailants. Cash and running shoes reportedly taken. Guest declined to open a case.
THEFT OUT M.V. - MAIN ST (Fri 27 April @ 02h44) – Client reported theft out of Motor Vehicle within range of CCTV cameras. Cameras were reviewed and suspect identified walking away with laptop bag. SAPS were notified and suspect was later arrested.
POSSESSION OF STOLEN GOODS - MAIN ST (Wed 2 May @ 23h27) - Allsound Camera controller dispatched Officers to an altercation caught on cameras. Allsound Response Officer recognised a jacket worn by a known suspect as being stolen from Du Preez Street break-in. Suspect was handed over to SAPS for possession of stolen goods.
KNYSNA HEIGHTS/ PARADISE / HEUWELKRUIN
BURGLARY - DU PREEZ ST (Fri 27 April @ 08h16) - Resident reported that they had a break-in during the night. A laptop, handbag, Ipad and some clothing were reported missing. Case was opened.
ATTEMPTED BURGLARY - SYRINGA ST (Mon 30 April @ 03h30) - Resident reported an attempted break-in at the property. Two suspects were reportedly disturbed and fled. Nothing stolen.
BURGLARY - PROTEA ST (Mon 30 April @ 08h00) - Guests reported that suspect entered via open window sometime during the night. Clothing and a cellphone were reported missing. Guests reported matter to SAPS.
BURGLARY - CAMPBELL DR (Wed 2 May @ 05h07) - Officer responded to alarm signal and confirmed positive break-in. Suspect entered through garage and then lifted sliding door off runners. A flat-screen TV, Notebook, cellphone, iPad and bags of clothing were stolen. Some of the items including TV were recovered. SAPS were notified and a case was opened.

BURGLARY - SALT RIVER RD (Wed 2 May @ 07h51) - Keyholder reported a break-in during the night at the one the containers. Tools were reported missing. SAPS were notified for case to be opened.
INDUSTRIAL AREA / HORNLEE / NEKKIES
BURGLARY - GLADSTON ST (Wed 2 May @ 05h31) – Officers responded to alarm signal and reported a break-in at the business premises. Alcohol was reported missing. Case was opened.
