KNYSNA NEWSFLASH - Read the full Allsound round-up of crime the past week in this week’s Knysna-Plett Herald, but in the meantime take note of their warning that “crime has increased in all areas this past week.”
Allsound recommends, “clients are reminded to make use of their alarm system especially at night – alarm to be armed on stay function where possible.”
Here are just three examples of crime this week among the other incidents:
BURGLARY - DU PREEZ STR (Fri 27 April @ 08h16)
Resident reported that they had a break-in during the night. A laptop, handbag, Ipad and some clothing were reported missing. Case was opened.
ATTEMPTED BURGLARY - SYRINGA STR (Mon 30 April @ 03h30)
Resident reported an attempted break-in at the property. Two suspects were reportedly disturbed and fled. Nothing stolen.
BURGLARY - PROTEA STR (Mon 30 April @ 08h00)
Guests reported that suspect entered via open window some time during the night. Clothing and a cellphone were reported missing. Guests reported matter to SAPS.
BURGLARY - CAMPBELL DR (Wed 2 May @ 05h07)
Officer responded to alarm signal and confirmed positive break-in. Suspect entered through garage and then lifted sliding door off runners. A flat screen TV, Notebook, cellphone, Ipand and bags of clothing were stolen. Some of the items including TV were recovered. SAPS were notified and a case was opened.
