PLETTENBERG BAY NEWS - An elderly Plettenberg Bay resident was attacked and tied up during a robbery in Keurbooms Heights during the early hours of this morning, Tuesday 6 February.
The suspects were, however, tracked down and arrested, thanks to the swift response and cooperation between various security stakeholders.
According to Plettenberg Bay Crime Prevention Association (PBCPA) operations head Otto Olivier, the resident was overpowered by a group of men and tied up during the incident.
The suspects fled the scene with the resident's A2 Mercedes Benz.
Following the swift distribution of information and cooperation between local security companies, the police, Bitou law enforcement and several PBCPA members, the suspects were found and arrested in Kwanokuthula during the course of the morning.
The vehicle was also recovered.
