KNYSNA NEWS - “Crime has increased in all areas this past week. Clients are reminded to make use of their alarm systems especially at night. Alarm to be armed on stay function where possible,” is the warning given in this week’s Allsound report.
According to the Allsound report, which you will find in this week’s Knysna-Plett Herald and online, crime has increased in all areas.
Two of these incidents, of the many, include theft out of a motor vehicle in Rawson Street on 10 May where the security gate was forced open. The suspect was caught by Allsound and handed over to the police.
In another incident in Voortrekker Street on 15 May a large portion of fencing was stolen during the night. CCTV footage showed two suspects pushing a trolley with the fencing and a case was opened with the police.
