KNYSNA NEWS - Residents of the Simola and Blaricum Heights area in Knysna have over the past couple of months noticed horses mysteriously roaming their area.
According to the reports, there are four horses that seem to come and go as they please, and wander around peacefully. Some have said that they are in an extremely good condition as well.

The mysterious thing is, nobody seems to know who these horses belong to or where they came from.
There is speculation that the horses may have run away, disappeared during the 2017 fires, and are only making their way home now – or are lost.
Most recently, a resident (who asked not to be named) was driving along the dusty Simola Road close to Blaricum Heights when he spotted the horses again.
“The last time I saw them was on Wednesday 7 February at about 8:30 in the morning.
"I stopped and got out of my car, and as soon as I did that they started approaching me. I was even able to stroke them.
"They didn’t seem scared and they didn’t run away either. I’m sure they must belong to someone around here, because I’ve seen them in the same area a few times,” he said.
So, are these horses just lost, are they possibly looking for their owners, or have they now accepted that the farm they once belonged on is gone?
Are they wild? Nobody seems to know.
