KNYSNA NEWS - Knysna Municipality's environmental management teams met with committee members and ward councillors Mandla Matiwane (Ward 7) and Thando Matika (Ward 8) yesterday, 19 January.
The matter under discussion was to address some issues the community is dealing with in keeping the Dinangwe Wetland litter-free.
The prime objective was to engage with the community members on community-generated solutions as there have been various clean-up campaigns in the past, all of which have been in vain.
This comes ahead of World Wetlands Day, which is celebrated annually on 2 February.
