KNYSNA NEWS - The next three days will be your last chance to see SA's very best contemporary portraiture – the Sanlam Portrait Award's Top 40 exhibition at the Knysna Fine Art gallery.
The show opened on 8 August and the works are on display until 18 August.
The winning portrait, entitled Genna and Felix, by Kate Arthur, is accompanied by 39 additional works selected by an independent panel of judges and the exhibition has been on a countrywide tour. The last stop after Knysna is a showing at the George Museum.
At the opening, gallery owner Trent Read made mention of being particularly proud that gallery manager and exhibit curator Corlie de Kock is one of the artists showcasing their works.
The exhibition is open today and tomorrow, 08:30 to 17:00 and Saturday 08:30 to 13:00.
