ELECTION NEWS - Despite their political difference residents came together in harmony at voting stations across Knysna and Plettenberg Bay.
Members of different political parties - donning their party regalia - could be seen at most local voting stations - some even huddling together to brave off the cold and wet weather that swept through the area on Wednesday morning.
Some voters even whipped out some audio equipment and blared popular music outside voting stations and danced together as they waited their turn to head to the polls.
Other voters shared umbrellas as they waited in the rain as queues outside voting stations became longer at about mid-morning.
