PLETTENBERG BAY NEWS - Bitou crime fighters are calling on residents for assistance following a burglary on a farm in Wittedrift last week.
Plettenberg Bay Crime Prevention Association (PBCPA) operations head Otto Olivier said the burglary happened on Folkstone Stud Farm in Wittedrift during the night of 5 June.
He added that not only did the suspects steal diesel from the tractors on the farm, but also broke into a builders' container containing a large number of valuable building tools and equipment.
"It is believed that the suspects came on foot and left the farm in the direction of the N2 towards Kwanokuthula," Olivier said.
He urged anyone with information to contact local police to assist in recovering the stolen goods and the arrest of the suspects.
Some of the tools include drills and accessories, a blue Mac Africa spanner and tool chest, a heat gun, planer, a powered nail gun, red silicone marine cable, an Ingco grinder and polisher, Makita angle grinder, orbit sander, plunge router and a circular saw.
