The addition of the delicatessen counter and cheese bar thus further enhances Golden Harvest’s one-stop convenience considerably. Add to this the KWV Wine Boutique and the Liquor Boutique and you have a significant saving in time and money.
Twice a year, they visit the wine farms to buy up their top-range wines at excellent prices, which gets passed on to customers.
At the cheese bar, delicious cheeses like the Gorgonzola Truckles (creamy blue cheese made in the style of Gorgonzola), Plaaskaas (six months matured farm cheese similar in taste to cheddar and Dalewood), Grand Brie (white mould brie cheese, extra creamy and made in French style) are stocked.
Delicious and versatile cold cuts like Cervelat Salami and Pepper Salami as well as Game Salami are ideal for serving on a warm summer’s evening.
Leberkase (fine German meatloaf which can be sliced thinly or cut into thick slices to grill or serve with a fried egg) is now also available.
Business hours
Golden Harvests retail centre in Cradock Street is open from 07:00 to 18:00 on weekdays, and 07:00 to 15:30 on Saturdays and 07:00 to 13:00 on Sundays.
