KNYSNA BUSINESS NEWS - Volkswagen Knysna is right back in the thick of things when it comes to the best customer service on offer in South Africa with a brand new front-of-house team carrying the dealership forward.
Efficient customer service has always been the key to a successful business, with the customer satisfaction index (CSI) the measure of that success, and VW Knysna has managed to land a spot among the top three Volkswagen dealerships in South Africa according to their CSI over the first three months of the year.
It was not always so for VW Knysna, but when dealer principal Francois Knoetze's family took ownership of the local dealership, the Knoetzes immediately set out to restore the dealership to its former customer-service glory that it experienced in the mid to late 1990s.
After a bad time for the dealership prior to the Knoetze ownership, VW Knysna has been putting the pieces back together over the last three years by carefully moulding the dealership's front-of-house team into a well-oiled machine that has helped the dealership reach new heights in customer satisfaction within each of its departments.
The new front-of-house team members feature a dynamic array of diverse young individuals from all walks of life from around South Africa, and who are obsessed with customer service.
This dedication has aided VW Knysna's resurgence up the national VW CSI rankings, as they find themselves at the top of category C in South Africa while they are third overall behind one category A and one category B dealership over the first three months of the year. They earned this spot thanks to a brilliant average CSI score of 98% out of a total of 107 Volkswagen dealerships countrywide.
This reward has come courtesy of not only a front-of-house team that is customer-driven, but also the entire team behind the running of the dealership according to Francois. "It's a team effort – everyone is extremely customer-driven and people-oriented, our customers always come first and it is something that is very important to us," Francois said.
