Knysna
These photos, of which some were taken by Tony Geldenhuys in Brenton-on-Lake, show some of the aftermath of the heavy rains that pelted down on Knysna from Tuesday afternoon 14 November. Geldenhuys said he and other residents spent most of the night and the next day clearing the mud that came down the hill from above their homes, while the roads entering Brenton and along the coastline were covered in what he referred to as a sludge.
