The exhibitions took place over a period of six days at the Hornlee Library, Masifunde Library and Rheenendal Community Centre.
Many interested members of the public also attended the displays and all were impressed by the variety and standard of artwork produced by the little ones.
Children from all of the preschools took turns to be 'on duty' at each venue which allowed visitors to watch them participate in their usual preschool activities and learning. The preschool teachers showed what innovative facilitators they are while their young charges' creativity was very evident.
Attendance at a preschool educare facility enables young children to start primary school with a great advantage compared with others who have not had the benefit of a preschool educational programme.
The programme was presented by Knysna Education Trust staff members, who saw that all aspects of the expo ran smoothly every day.
