These learners attend term-time classes in the creative arts, coordinated by B10F thanks to the generous funding of the Horton Foundation.
The showcase will include song, dance and drama items created by the learners at the various participating schools. The Plett Pioneers Field Band will also perform at the event. Artworks created by learners as part of the visual arts programme will be on display.
"We are excited to see what these Plett learners have created during the year. The Bitou 10 Foundation is tremendously privileged to play this role in providing platforms for personal growth and development through the arts. We are grateful to the principals and arts and culture coordinators at the various schools for supporting us in our efforts to bring arts education to the children of Plett. Of course, this event would not be possible without the dedication of the facilitators who work with the learners throughout the year. Thank you," said Kim Weyer, B10F CEO.
A minimum donation of R20 to B10F is suggested per ticket to the showcase on Saturday, November 1. There will be an art exhibition on display from 13:00, the performance will start at 14:00 at Plettenberg Bay Primary School.
