KNYSNA SPORT NEWS - The third and final Oakhill Waterfront Chukka Festival of the year has come and gone after a weekend of exciting U15 action that pitted 17 schools against each another.
The U15 edition of the popular water polo festivals kicked off on Thursday 27 February, continuing the trend of chukka fever taking over the Knysna Waterfront as it did twice before this year with the U13 and U19 chukka festivals.
The weekend that lay ahead for the U15 water polo players would see 92 matches played between the youngsters and one match between coaches.
The action continued Friday through Saturday, eventually coming to an end on Sunday 1 March with matches between St Cyprian's School and Woodridge College's girls' teams as well as Fairmont College and Oakhill's boys' teams.

Proceedings were all wrapped up by 13:00, and the various schools were soon on their way back to their respective corners of the country.
The last matches of the festival brought the grand total of matches played during this year's chukka festivals to an astonishing 303 matches between the learners and three matches between coaches.
