The players, together with the SA Rugby Players’ Association (Sarpa), asked the court to liquidate EP Rugby in March this year as a result of them being unable to pay their debts owed to players in the region of R20 million.
EP Rugby was due to supply documents on 27 June but failed to do so and an application to compel the discovery of documents was launched the following day by players.
Yesterday, the court compelled EP Rugby by order to supply the documents in question within 10 days.
In the interim, the players are filing papers opposing their union's attempts at business rescue.
EP are due to file a reply and the matter is set to be argued in court on 4 August.
