KNYSNA NEWS - Eager participants took on the second Urban X Obstacle and Trail last weekend, with just under 100 people flocking to Blackwaters River Lodge for the event.
For the race, there was a much-reduced field of participants compared to the first, with organisers Coyote Events attributing this reduction largely to concerns surrounding the Covid-19 pandemic.
Organisers had set up a new course for participants that, instead of snaking through the surrounding Goukamma forests, made its way through some of the surrounding farms.
The race was again a hit, and the third and final Urban X Obstacle and Trail will be held at Blackwaters once again in just under a month, as they plan to return on Sunday 3 January.
