KNYSNA NEWS - Young martial artist Casey Krijger and her mentor, sensei Richard Janse van Rensburg, recently delivered impressive performances at the OGKK Provincial Championship Tournament held in George.
Krijger secured a bronze medal in the kata division while Janse van Rensburg led by example, earning two silver medals; one in kata and another in kumite, the sparring component of the competition.
A third student, who did not want to be named, also delivered a strong performance, claiming a silver medal in kata.
OGKK Knysna opened in January 2025 under the traditional guidance and teaching of Janse van Rensburg.
