KNYSNA NEWS - Three baseball players from the Hornlee-based Hornets Sports Academy were recently announced as part of the 2023 Eden Baseball age group teams.
The announcement was made on 14 February, spreading the love to some very special baseball players in the Southern Cape.
Three of these are the Hornets' very own Dewayne Barnado (U18), Davince Petersen (U15) and Nadav Mackay (U12).
They will represent Eden at the National Baseball Championships later this year. They've already attended two baseball camps and will be attending four more during the month of March to prepare for nationals.
Nadav Mackay has been chosen for the U12 age group.
Dewayne Barnardo has been given a spot in the U18 team.
