They were privileged to stay in Herold's Bay and play the courses of Oubaai, Kingswood, George and Fancourt (Montagu), says Knysna Sport School manager, Jan van Wageningin.
"Once again, a warm thank you to each and everyone who made this tour possible. Your involvement, efforts and contributions make it possible to provide quality and accessible sport-related opportunities to the youth in our community!
The support we enjoy from so many locals, in whatever way, is invaluable to our success and we are most grateful to you all. The generous donations and input (money, time, expertise and/or sport equipment) from fellow Knysna people provide the moral support needed to continue our sport school’s mission to reach 1 000+ children."
Knysna Sport School strives to realise its motto in every athlete trained and every sporting challenge competed in: “To promote sportsmanship, fellowship and self-respect among children in Knysna through the medium of a healthy sporting ethos and environment, and the development of their skills in their chosen sport”.
