KNYSNA NEWS - A young soccer star’s dreams have come true as Gaylon Williams, 18, recently embarked on the Real Betis Tour to Spain on 15 December.
The talented young goal keeper who is a member of the Royals FC team is a true testament to hard work and dedication.
Gaylon received immense support from the Knysna community to make his dreams come true, with a collective crowd fundraising of R60000 to see him achieve his dreams.
Gaylon's mother Leoney Williams would like to thank the following individuals and organisations for making her son’s dreams a reality: Kilt, Lee Blasich of LB Garden Services Knysna, Knysna Municipality, Kay Andrews, Susan Campbell, Ricardo Pedro, Allan Croutz, Julie Poultney Tasker of Knysna Golden Girls,and Hornlee Primary School.
Gaylon’s mother Leoney also extends her thanks to the Knysna Plett Herald who reported on Gaylon’s success and journey to Real Betis early on this year.
