KNYSNA ATHLETICS NEWS – With a new day and time slot on the cards for participants, the team from KnysnaX Sporting Events held the third Ravine Time Trial on Sunday 25 April, staged once again at The Farm, just off Old Cape Road.
The first two events, in February and March, were held late on Friday afternoons. But, after much deliberation, the organisers decided to move the run to a Sunday morning, to enable runners and their families to kick off their Sundays with a nice morning run.
The third iteration was thus held between 08:00 and 10:00 on Sunday with the event enjoying its highest number of participants yet. Runners could once again complete either 3km, 5km, or 10km around the roughly 1km loop that forms the trail, and the entry fee included a coffee.
The time trial will in future be held every last Sunday of the month.
