KNYSNA SCHOOLS ATHLETICS - The best athletes from Knysna's primary schools competed in the annual town meet, which is used to determine which athletes will get to represent the town at the district competition.
The various schools all converged on the Knysna High School sports fields on Friday 7 February with their best athletes from their respective interhouse athletics events, with participants as young as U7 right up to U13 competing in various track-and-field items throughout the course of the day.
The top three athletes in each item and each age group would be the ones selected for the town team who will be participating at the district event in Plettenberg Bay this weekend, where schools from Sedgefield and Plettenberg Bay will make up their respective towns' teams.
